Biosensia now seeks to recruit a number of key staff to its core product development team.

Diagnostics technologist: The successful candidate will develop, qualify and validate novel diagnostic assays and related instrumentation for rapid, quantitative agent detection, monitoring and screening. Responsibilities will include development of novel assays and reagent formulations, transfer of knowledge from R&D to manufacturing, supervision of key aspects of manufacturing process scale-up and validation in collaboration with external partners. The individual will be educated to M.Sc. or Ph.D. level with 5+ years of relevant industrial experience, preferably with a demonstrable track record of innovation in areas such as; immunoassay development (in compliance with design control requirements of the IVD Directive and FDA QSR standards),, microfluidics, diagnostics instrumentation, and application of MIPs for analysis or extraction.

MIPS Programme Manager: The successful candidate will be educated to Ph.D. level, have a demonstrable track record of scientific achievement and innovation in MIP science (or relevant skills in chemistry) preferably along with application of MIPs for analysis or extraction. The person will be responsible for directing a focused MIP development program at two of Biosensia’s R&D sites and ensuring the availability of robust MIPs for DAT drug panels at product launch.

Product Manager / Senior Product Engineer: The successful candidate will most likely be from an In-Vitro Diagnostic company, with 5+ years of relevant industrial experience and have significant experience in taking diagnostic test components from development to finished product. The individual will be responsible for product engineering and interfacing with BioSensia’s product development partners. This will include design and supervision of laboratory and field-based clinical trials, product scale up and transfer to manufacturing.
